Polar FT7 issue....

I just bought it last night and it worked great for the 20 minutes that i played with it but now today i can't get the watch to pick up the transmitter anymore. any advice is greatly appreciated

    I have a different model, the 4 with the chest strap, wetting a little the chest sensors with a little water and adjusting it seems to help.

    i just tried wetting it and could get a reading without the strap attached but not with it...i'll keep playing with it...i had been hoping to wear it to work ( on my last day) b/c i am very curious about calories burned. Oh well i gotta get going its time for me to be out the door :(

    Make sure you get it wet enough...don't be afraid to soak it ;)
