Loggingdifferent types of biking

I'm starting to ride my bike more and always go on a mostly flat, but rocky and bumpy grass/dirt road trail. I was only going about 10-12 mph but there was a lot of resistance (why i was going so slowly). Would you count this as mountain biking? It's not extremely vigorous but is definitely harder than riding in the street at this speed would be so i'm curious how to log this to be the closest to what i am really burning. thanks.
