Just quick hello, found this site by accident and thought it was as good as weightwatchers and it is free. I need to lose about 14lbs and was going to do the 5:2 fasting diet and thought I would use the calorie counter to control the 2 days fasting.

    One thing I dont understand though. If you are fasting then surely on those two days there are no calories to count as you are fasting?

    I think if that is what you want to do then it would be best to actually fast on those 2 days and have nothing but water and then use this site on the other 5 days to control you calorie, carb and fat intake

    The fasting days you eat 500 calories. The rest of the time you don't over eat so I would still count calories on those days, to at least see how much I am eating! I used to cook for 5, then 3 now just 2 of us and it has been quite hard to reduce the amount to cook, so I have been eating a bit too much :)
