exercise out of ideas

I am out of ideas when I comes to exercise. I feel like I get little or no results, and no I don't do something for a week and get upset because I haven't lost 10lbs. I tried doing weights, increasing what I was lifting for three months, little result, no weightloss. I tried mixing up my workouts, nothing. Back when I lost weight I just hit the elliptical for an hr a day, but I assumed from all I read here that I would see better results incorporating weights and doing less straight cardio. Nope. I tried eating 1600 cals for months, nothing. I tried eating 2000, no change. Maybe if I do and hr on the elliptical a day then weights plus that hr 3 days a week. I doen't do weights on my legs because my legs are gigantic and anytime I do weights on them they get puffy with water. I guess I am not really asking anything, just a rant.

Might start with unlocking your diary, telling us your weight/age, along with what your weight lifting regime was/is.0

As I said, I am not asking for help. I think that mat be part of what got me in this position in the first place. What works for some doesn't for everyone.0
