Hi All
My name is Jodi, age 33. I recently found out that my little sister is getting married and I have been asked to be a bridesmaid! I want to loose a load of weight and get fit as I want to look good, feel confident, and make her proud on her big day! I have at least 15 months to work with.
I have tried diets before but struggle with my weight, mainly due to portion control and lack of exercise.
I'm keen to get hints and tips from other people on the site which will help with my motivation too.
I am currently 264lbs. I only started my diet 10 days ago and have lost 2lbs.

Hey, I'm new too. I'm 25 with 50lbs to lose. Add me if you like and we can keep eachother on track. A wedding is great motivation!!!0

I, too, have an issue with portion control. I have found, though, that if I make half or more of the meal vegetables (non-starchy like green beans or broccoli) that it fills me up without overloading me on calories. That's my tip0
