Good Morning! I've decided to start running again! Been running for a couple of weeks now. Am running an easy program Jeff Galloway to train for 1/2 marathon on Sept. 8. Looking for others who are training too. Or others who are slow runners, but love it anyways! I thought I'd try to pick up my speed and train for a long distance. However, after reading some posts, I decided to trust my gut. I'll train for the distance. I'd rather run 13.1 miles slow, than push myself to run 5K fast. I can't seem to push myself to go very fast......never have...doubt I can...However, I have trained myself to run a marathon (run/walk). Hope there are folks out there who'd like support too, and we can give each other encouragement!

I run distance (marathons) and have a half this weekend and on june 1st. I have a decent PR in both (3:49/1:35) and hope to qualify for boston one day! Good luck in your race and welcome back to running!
