Hold off on recording the weight, but continue to log everything else. Or, if you really want to be frustrated, take your weight daily at least twice a day. The fluctuations are incredible. It's quite interesting to watch. :P

How often do you weigh yourself? I weigh myself every day, just to keep track of where things are, but I don't actually "count" it or record it except for on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Your weight fluctuates daily, whether or not you have your period.

if you want to make yourself crazy, then yes.

however if you want to retain your sanity, i say no.

wait till the water weight comes off.

I kept tracking mine and found that I lost more weight during my TOM. I think it's mainly the hormones. When I'm consistent with physical activity before I start as well as during, I find that it works in my favor and gives me a boost. I feel more focused and more goal oriented than usual.

Anyways, this is my own experience. I know everyone is a little different. I would say on a more general level: don't weigh yourself the first two days (those agonizing first two days) but keep being active and working out. Once you begin to feel better, weigh yourself (usually on day 3 for me). Those are the days when I see the best results.

Same here. I usually start my period on my weigh in day and so far those have been the weeks I have lost the most.

And even if it were to go up I know that it's just one blip on my chart and the overall downward trend is what really matters.
