Hi, New Here

I signed up a long time ago and never used the site. I tried WW and it is just not for me. My husband is doing well
with it though and likes it so far. I am too sensitive to the foods allowed on WW and low carb works better for me, not so well for the hubby. So, I do know that I should be more mindful of calories now though if I want to take this last 8-10 lbs off. I am older and my metabolism probably isn't what it used to be. I think I got lax with my low carb eating and just plain ate too much in a day. So, watching my calories too I am hoping will be helpful for me.

    MFP is the best site for you! I have been here for a month, logging every day and find it great! I'm exactly the same age, 47 and I don't feel my metabolism slow - I lost about 10 lbs in this 1st month due to counting calories, eating mostly clean, healthy foods and restarting exercises after a year's pause. I like the supportive and healthy-minded placement of MFP - frankly speaking I'm addicted to it! :smile:
