New and motivated!

It's also officially summer and I don't fit into my clothes from less than a year ago!

I'm a 33yr old mom with the goal of losing 10-15 lbs. After my pregnancy I reached my goal weight and stayed there for a year... then I started work again and have been gaining almost a pound a month ever since - and its been 11 months. During that same time my husband started playing sports again and watching his diet - and lost 35 lbs. He's maintained his weight loss while I've been gaining. I'm proud of him, but disappointed in myself. I don't want this trend to continue!

I sit at a desk most of the day, grab convenience foods and don't exercise (beyond playing with my son). I signed up a few years ago but never actually used myfitnesspal. I'm back to stay motivated and reach my goal weight, but also to become more aware of the decisions I make on a daily basis and how they are affecting my health.

While I am confident I can make healthier eating choices, my big challenge is going to be finding time to fit exercise into my day. Looking for encouragement and support, and eager to provide the same... add me! : )
