How Accurate is this one?I bought it but now I am wondering how right it is. I did a mile last night in 16 minutes some walking and some running. And it has the sensor on it that you have to touch and I would randomly touch it throughout the 16 minutes and it totaled saying i burned 260 calories. But now I am wondering if this could be right?

It's extremely accurate at reading your heart rate at the moment you test it.
It does not contain enough datapoints, in comparison to a chest strap HRM, to be accurate at all for an average heart rate.

No because it is not continuously taking your heart rate. As I mentioned in your other thread, 260 calories for 15 minutes of exercise, at your weight (you are not heavy) is exceedingly high.

Last paragraph in this blog talks about that type.

If it's the one I think it is, it is horribly inaccurate. I ended up getting one with a chest strap from amazon.com for a few dollars less and it had free shipping.

I even did a comparison walk wearing both HRM's.

One without chest strap gave me a calorie burn of over 500 for a 26 min walk @ 2.9mph. I should add, I was checking my HR every 3-5 mins (which was annoying).
One with chest strap gave me a calorie burn of 212 for the same walk.
