Net Calories - Not losing weight

I'm 41 and trying to lose 30 pounds. I am using a heart monitor and it tells me I'm burning 500 calories when I work out for 60 mins. (I'm truly working hard.) Plus I use a Fitbit.
I usually have an average net calories of 1000 each day. The problem is I am struggling to lose more than 1/2 pound each week.
Should I eat more? Should my net by at least 1200?

Go to the search tab and look for "in place of a road map".. Read and follow it.. It's your best bet0

Well I think your net should be at least your BMR, but then your weight loss will be a bit slower. Sustainable, but perhaps slower. I lost over 30 lbs eating about 2100 calories daily, so I believe in eating as much as you can while still losing weight.0
