logging soft serve/ice cream from ice cream stands

so now that ice cream season is here i suspect that I'll be gong to ice cream stands at least a few times this season. I'd like to not sabotage my weight loss efforts and log at least somewhat close to what i get at this sort of place.. .You know, roadside ice cream stands that carry hard ice cream brands but also have a soft serve machine with various flavors. I can usually figure out hard ice cream by eyeballing a generous amount and finding nutrition information through the brand, but its harder for soft serve where the brand isnt always known and sizes vary depending on where you go. In my experience, a "small" is usually as big as my face when it comes to getting a plain soft serve cone. Any idea how I should log this or should I just take a wild guess?

I like the soft serve ice cream cones from McDonalds. You could get one of those and use it for comparison to whatever you get from stands.

McDonald's soft serve isn't actually ice cream, it's labeled as something else so it's not a good comparison. Look up Dairy Queen's info and compare it off of that?
