Well I got tired of listening to my Dr. talk about Borderline Diabetic, Over weight, Fatty Liver, ect. So I went out bought a new bicycle ( A 2013 Jamis Nova Race road / cyclocross bike still waiting for it to be delivered) , a bowling ball set up (I try to bowl 3-6 games a day), TRY to walk 10,000 steps a day averaging more like 4,500 now but working on it (My two pedometers never agree my new iHealth Wireless Activity tracker is always at least half the steps my SM-2000 Digital Counter and my Digifit App show that I walked so not sure which count to use though the Digifit is usually within 20 steps of my SM-2000, and got some new Juicing recipes (TASTE AWFUL) for reversing Fatty Liver will post my next lab results in a few months. So far I have lost 3 lbs in a week and a half.
Wish me luck I have 21 lbs more to lose as my first goal, now how do I tone down my belly fat? I tried looking online for my ideal weight / BMI and I would have to weigh 160 to be considered not obese but last time I was 175 I looked sickly thin. any guidance on this would be welcomed.

By the way does anyone know if there is a way to calibrate the iHealth Wireless Activity tracker?0

I don't know about that particular brand of pedometer, but most of them are capable of being calibrated by your footstep length, which is important for correctly counting individual steps... there should be something in the settings area of the pedometer..
As for healthy BMI everyone is different and it really depends on your body frame (ie skeletal size), I'm very small boned, so I tend to need to be a the lower ends of weight scales, medium and large boned of course are going to carry more weight without it affecting health.
I think you probably know best what's good for you, and if at 175 you looked gaunt, that's definitely a look to avoid. It also depends where you carry that weight, and sadly there is nothing that targets weight loss in specific areasCutting body fat is the best overall way to reduce weight and the midriff expansion we all seem to be prone toward. Reducing sugar is another bigger, and by that I mean processed or refined sugar, but whilst starting out I'd also keep my fruit intake lower as they have tremendous amounts of sugars as well. Berries are the best for overall health and lowest sugar.... Lots of fluids to keep hydrated.
