need help understanding the settings on MFP

ok, so i am trying to find this info out everywhere with no luck. as i lose weight, will my calorie goal change? like the less i weigh, the less calories i need to consume to continue the 2 lb a week weight loss?

    at the very top of your screen you will see HELP - click on that. I remember seeing somewhere it says as you post your weight loss, every 10 lbs you are down it will ask you if you want to adjust your goals. I think you have to use the recommended goals option rather than setting your own (like if you change your ratio of carb/protien/fat) because it didn't prompt me after I lost 10 lbs. But since I had read that, I let it guide me through to get the right calories (it went down by 70) then I readjusted my carb/protein/fats.
