Gained a few lbs?

Hello! I weighed myself today and was a bit displeased to see I went from 152 to 155. I've upped my calorie intake from 700-1000 to 1200-1500 and I exercise 4-5 times week for an hour and 10-20 minutes of weight training. This doesn't discourage me or anything, I just want to know if I'm doing something wrong so I can prevent it from continuing. My diary is also open to the public (I believe).
Thank you! ^^
Also, the scale I have isn't digital, and is many, MANY years old, so I figure it could lie to me about how much a lose and gain once in awhile.

The 3 pounds is likely due to water retention or more waste in your system than the last time you weighed yourself--it wouldn't be possible to gain 3 pounds of fat on what you're eating. You may have set your goal to 1500, but your diary shows most days you net 600-800 calories. If I were you, I would concentrate on meeting my calorie and macro goals for a several weeks before making any additional changes, and see whether properly fueling yourself makes a difference.
Best of luck!0 -
Thank you! I was shocked, but I guess I couldn't have gained 3 lbs of fat not overeating or not eating junk food. I'll take your advice!0

It's takes a while for your weight loss to balance out when increasing your calories.
Keep at it.0 -
I can understand that, I'm not going to lower my calorie intake back to what it was.0
