Losing the bloat/looking thinner?

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've recently gotten back on track with my eating and exercising. As much as I want to lose weight, I'm really focused on setting a healthy example for my daughter. The question? I have a large function next weekend. Obviously I'm not going to lose more than a pound or two before it (which is fine). But I would love to LOOK like I've lost a few more than that. Does anyone have a recommendation for losing the bloat/water weight? Or just a trick to look smaller in general (other than spanxx...those are already packed...:) ). THANKS in advance!

    you could do a body wrap that can help you lose several inches for a few days. you'll need to go to a spa-type place.

    bloating- cut salt. looking thinner- wear fitted but not tight, aim for elongation thru visual tricks such as a v neck, shoes same colour as hosiery or pants.

    If you 're looking to flush out excess water, I would recommend drinking water with lemon (squeeze a whole one into some water). That always helps me shed the water weight (esp during that time of the month!)
