Weight Plateau. Help??

Hi Everyone!

I lost 11 pounds (the most I've ever lost - hooray!), but now I seem to keep gaining and losing the same 2 pounds (so I go back to 9, then 11, back to 9...) for about three weeks. I presume I have hit the dreaded weight loss plateau. I was wondering if any of you have hit this, and if so what have you done to overcome it?

Thanks!!

It would help if you opened your diary, so we could see what you're doing.

That being said, here are some common tips:
    Eat more food
    Try a fast
    Change up your workout routine
Add weight lifting to your workout routine
Make sure you are progressing in all aspects of your workout (lift more, run faster, dance harder, etc).
    Drink more water
    Adjust your diet macros
Don't eat sugars too close to bedtime
    Eat a healthier breakfast

Congrats on losing the first 10. I agree with Vorgas you may need to drink more water and eat more food but ensure it's nutrient dense. They say weight loss is 70% diet and 30% activity. What are you doing for activity? You might also want to check in with a Dr. and nutritionist.

This is happening to me right now, lost 10 gained 5 back. but I have slacked on daily exercise and needed thyroid meds again.
