Just started exercising last week. I am 303 right now and was wondering what i should be doing in the gym? I have been doing the stationary cycle for 20 minutes, walking for 10 and calorie counting. Would lifting weights also contribute to my weight loss? If so what should I be focusing on. Thank you for your answers in advance!

Many people have found great success by adding weight lifting to their routine. You have a great advantage in the beginning, and at your BMI, where you can actually eat at a calorie deficit and add muscle.
More muscle burns more fat throughout the day and of course more calories in the gym.
I would recommend taking a look at Stronglifts 5x5. It's a great beginner weight lifting programs. MFP has a support group.
