Your best exercise for lower abs

So I went shopping yesterday for some clothes and was totally frustrated by my lower stomach!! I have been lifting fairly heavy and doing lots of ab work and I have started to see a huge difference in my upper abs, but the lower abs just seem to stick out more. I have to go up a size to fit around my lower abs - grrrrr. I know that I cannot spot reduce and have to continue losing the LB's, but I was wondering if there are any proven routines for lower abs that y'all have used.
Thanks
Thanks

When in doubt, a good resource for me on questions like this is Bret Contreras (over at T Nation). Here's an article that I thought was pretty informative about ab exercises: http://www.t-nation.com/testosterone-magazine-627
I think you'll find that lower abs are going to be a challenge, but persistance and good diet strategy will help you get there.
Good luck to you!0 -
I'm afraid you probably need to diet a bit and do maybe some cardio. You can't reduce only fat from a certain spot.0

Without a doubt, mountain climber. Hands on a chair, lean over, lift knee up to your chest, hold for 3 seconds, lower then alternate, repeat 30 times (15 each leg) rest 30 seconds, repeat another 30. Plank great also.0
