Gained weight only in buttock area!

Help! I've lost almost 30ibs over the past 2 yearsand have now gained 10ish back, and it is all in my butt area! Never before did I have the extra cheek under my actual cheek, but now I do! I haven't been running in the past 6 months, could this be why? What are some good options to target that area?
