Hey guys,
Well i just wanted to post to kind of get some thoughts and motivation from others. 3 weeks today I will have landed in Zante and be well on my way to dancing in a bar somewhere....howevr there is one thoughht that is driving me crazy. Yep....getting half naked on the beach!
My main problem is that although I am only 27 i know the place we are going is popular for students/teens and young girls these days are sooooo skinny and seemingly perfect. Whilst I have made a committment to lose 50lbs I am not silly enough to think this can happen in 3 weeks, I just wonder if anyone has any tips for faking body confidence on the beach?
I am not going to find love (a cheeky snog would be nice!) but guys also, what attracts you to a girl on the beach? Apart from her banging body of course lol. Would you still find someone attractive with a curvy figure if they looked confident?
Just curious for some thoughts..annnddddddd GO! :-)

Confidence by far. Saw a curvy woman recently at the beach, I mean plus sized, but man she was sexy. So much confidence in the way she carried herself. Much hotter than the skinny ones just laying out tanning.0

There's no reason to be ashamed of yourself if you're taking care of your body. Whatever shape you're in, wear it with pride!0

Find a really cute beach outfit. It doesn't have to be a bikini, but find something YOU think you look good in. Don't feel forced to wear something you think will compete with the skin-showing-abilities-of-those-who-haven't-hit-their-mid-20s-yet.
If you FEEL you look good, you will ACT like you look amazing. And that is WAY sexy. Have an amazing time.0 -

Love it!! Thats really good words and will stick in my mind, thanks!! I think I am generally confident but i want to oooooze it, in a genuine way and not overly confident! I love most of my body just not too keen on belly area so i guess if i find a way to draw attention AWAY from this area I will be fine :-)

About 10 years ago, when I weighed about 238 pounds, I went to a clothing optional resort with my then fiance', who weighed more than I did. I told him straight out I was NOT going to walk around in the nude. Well, 15 minutes after we got there and sticking out like a sore thumb in my shorts and tank top, I said what the hell, and stripped.
Now if I can do that at 238 pounds, you can do it. No one was laughing at me. And it was the most liberating experience. If you have never bathed nude in the ocean, you have to do it.0
