Beginner Female Gym Goer Looking for Advice/Suggestions

Hello I've recently started tracking my diet and looking to begin a weight training routine and would enjoy any advice or suggestions that could point me in the right direction. I'm looking to lose about 10 pounds I recently put on this past winter. I've been walking/jogging for the last few weeks and just joined the gym and would love a 3 or 4 day weight training program to follow.

I like this one the best because it is easy to understand and straight forward....i suggest getting the book Starting Strength, but the link provides the info to get started...and watch youtube videos on form...mark riptoe
Stronglifts is great too
New Rules is great from what i hear, but for me personally was a bit overwhelming with all of the stages and workouts...i would do that after getting a good foundation with this:
