This has to be a joke right?0

If it contains even 1 calorie, I log it. I even log coffee, which has none. Just because it's from something good for you, doesn't mean it's 'free'...it still counts towards your daily caloric intake.
umm coffee doesn't have many calories but it's not zero
I count everything. It's the only way to know whether I've eaten enough to be at maintenance or in a surplus.
Total waste of time if you are only logging some things and not others. The only things I don't count are water and my green and herbal teas (zero kcals).0 -

what do u mean? i was wondering the same thing as op0 -
I count everything to the best of my ability. Sometimes I have a hard time guessing how many calories are in a certain fruit or veggies.0

What are these "Bad Calories" you speak of? Do they rob banks or something? :-D0
-
or just the bad ones? i dont need to count the calories from chicken breast or fruit do i?
You are supposed to ignore the bad calories. Those didn't happen.0 -
I try to account for everything. Individual ingredients if I cook, including the oil I cooked in, and I tend to check MFP against official restaurant nutrition guides if they're posted since it often feels like the site overestimates calories burned and underestimates intake.
Like everyone else said, calories are calories, whether you got them from a lean piece of grilled chicken or a Big Mac.0 -
Counting calories on MFP? I thought this was for picking up cougars...0
-
I count everything down to every little piece of tootsie roll lol You have to otherwise the whole thing is thrown off, you goes by specific math you can't change the numbers without changing the results0
-
I only count the calories from foods with an 'a' in the name.0
-
I count all cals EXCEPT french fries that I eat from someone else's plate. EVERYONE knows that those are negative calories. You only have cals from french fries if they are on YOUR plate. It can get a bit awkward in restaurants, but hey ! I've met lots of nice friends that way : )
Carry on.0 -
Yes!!! Every sip and bite! Okay, I lied...The occasional time I have a sugar free mint or gum I won't log it...but everything else that goes in my mouth I log......:embarassed: I mean food or beverages.0
