Hi everyone! So, for the past week, i've kind of been a bit slack with my healthy eating, due to a load of uni assignments and stress. Then yesterday me and my boyfriend broke up, so I kind of binged out on chocolate last night, naturally :S Anyway, tonight is my brothers birthday and we're all going to Montezumas (Mexican Restaurant), and I know that it will be extremely hard to find any healthy alternatives there! Here is their menu (I hope you can all see it...) http://www.montezumas.com.au/site/DefaultSite/filesystem/documents/Menu_DineIn.pdf

Any help on the healthiest option choice would be appreciated so much! I need to get back into my health routine haha
Thank you :D

I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. It's easier to say than to do, but don't let him be the source of bad food decisions that you make. Don't let him have that control. I'm sure that you needed the chocolate binge for medicinal purposes. It sounds like your brother's birthday is coming at a good time. Enjoy it. It's a happy occasion.

Looking at the menu, I think the Chicken Mexican or the Enchilada Picadilo are probably the healthiest alternatives. They also have side salads, so you can try to fill up on that.

BTW - I have to say that Montezuma may be a great name for a roller coaster, but a restaurant? Isn't Montezuma's revenge when you get sick from drinking the water? I'm sure the food is delicious (and will not make you sick), but I couldn't help pointing that out. :)

Thank you! Yeah, I think last night was just a weak moment, but getting back into the game now! The enchilada picadilo seems like a good idea, thanks! I was thinking of ordering it without rice and perhaps a salad instead, with dressing on the side :) Now I have to try and not give in to the nachos, haha!
