Help!...I work 3rd shift and am always going back and forth on how to log my food. On the nights I work (3 12 hour shifts a week) I usually get up around 3pm, eat something around 4 or 5 before work, go to work at 6pm, eat a small snack around 8pm, eat "dinner" around 2am, get off at 6:30am, come home and go to bed. I am usually too tired in the morning to worry about eating anything so I just go strait to bed. Any other 3rd shifters in the same boat? What do you do?

I work 9pm to 7am and have for the past 5 years.

It does not matter one bit WHEN you eat, as long as you are getting all your daily calories that you need sometime between the time you wake up and the time you go back to bed.

Meal timing is irrelevant. This myth has been debunked many times. Just make sure you meet your calorie goal between sleeping times.

Midnight to midnight. I don't worry about labels or having certain types of food at certain times. I just try to hit my calorie goals and macros.

Just count how much cals you ate in a day - 24h. Count your proteins, carbs... or whatever you are counting, that's all. Meal timing is irrelevant. 1 meal what has 2400 cals or 6 meals after every 2 hours what each has 400 cals, it's all the same outcome.
