Eating back exercise calories

Hi all,

Bit tricky. I want to start eating my exercise calories back, but I work out after work, and eat before I go to the gym. I know I need to start eating more, but I don't know where to fit it in. I can't guarantee I'll burn the same amount of calories at the gym each time I go, I can't even 100% guarantee that I'll be able to go on the night I say I will.

Is it OK to eat them back the next day, when I know what calories I'm working with? Or should I just be more organised about the whole thing and eat during the day and make sure I burn the appropriate calories in the evening?

    You're over thinking it.

    Just eat roughly how much you burn on average.
