Which one? There are at least 3 (4 if you count the Fire).
Though regardless, my review is: yes. It's like having books, but less heavy and space-consuming. Everyone wins.0 -
I love my Kindle, I use it everyday. I had the Kindle Keyboard and liked it but rarely used the keyboard so when I wore it out I just got the regular model. I liked the feel of the keyboard version a lot better.0

I have a kindle, and it. Sometimes the books aren't edited very well. I've seen glaring spelling and grammatical errors. But it's great to take on trips and for reading in bed.0

I LOVE my Kindle Fire HD. I can carry all my books, magazines, music, pictures, etc in one little device. I create PDF's with my goals for the moth or documents from the internet and save them in my documents tab so I can have the information when I need it. I play Netflix for my kids at restaurants that have free WiFi, check the news, and log my food through my Kindle. I have the 7" Kindle Fire so it is small enough to fit into my purse. I also listen to my book with the Text-to-Speech while working, driving, or cleaning the dishes. I borrow Kindle books and audiobooks from my local library, and what I heard is that you cannot do it with the app for the Ipad or other tablets. So, If you like to read get the Kindle; you won't regret it.0

I'm not entirely sure what to do with that.0 -

Well, that's embarrassing. Maybe it's not the Kindle. Maybe it is me.0

the ONLY downfall to the Kindle? it doesn't have the book smell. but i do love mine. i just dl'ed the complete Sherlock Holmes (all books and shorts) for 0.99. so yeah.0

I don't think I could survive without my Kindle! I have a paperwhite because I wanted a lighted screen, but before that I had the 3rd generation with the keyboard that was arguably the best basic Kindle that they ever made.
As a side note, I also have an iPad mini which I love as well. I do read on both, but I really prefer reading on the Kindle especially outside. There is just wicked glare when I go outside. That being said, if I had no technology and could only pick one, I would go iPad mini if you have a little more to spend or Kindle Fire if you're on a budget. I just really like the flexibility with the iPad though in that I can read different formats and from multiple sources. But for just reading, Kindle all the way!0 -
I Absolutely love my Kindle Fire HD 8.9. Compared to my wife's Ipad, the Kindle dowloads faster, but the screen is slightly smaller. I use it for reading, surfing, researching, gaming, email; anything that can be done with a tablet. As an earlier reply indicated, sometime the books/mags will have grammer/misspellings: That is not the Kindle's fault but a fault of the book editer/publisher.
I own a Kindle keyboard, a Kindle Fire and the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (old timer eyes needed the larger screen)0
