Homemade Almond Milk?

I am lactose intolerant and I typically don't have any other types of milk in the house besides the cow's milk the kids drink. . I love the flavor of almond milk but there are so many additives that it turns me off. I was thinking of making my own. Has anyone done it? Any tips?
