Loss of A Loved One and Stress Eating

Today has been a really rough day for me. An unexpected death happened yesterday that I have just had a really hard time processing. I've been trying to sit here at my desk and bury myself in work to keep my mind off it, but then the comfort food craving just gets bigger and bigger. That's how I've always dealt with situations like this, just a short moment of comfort in eating at a time that seems to have none.

I just know it's not only going to be today that's hard. Many people go thru this and I'm just wondering how to keep my mind off the grief eating and stress eating.

I think its best to think of it in terms of your own health. You are trying to eat right so you are healthy and give yourself the best chance possible. No matter what took your loved one, they would want the best for you.
