Can anyone give me some advice on workouts that
A) won't be too hard on my joints
I can ease into and do 5-6 times a week and
C) will help cure my recurring nightmares?
Been having awful nightmares for the last 2wks which result in me only getting around 3hrs sleep a night. I researched it and it seems to be stress related. I understand exercise cures stress, but is there any specific exercises I can do? Bearing in mind I'm new to working out coz it puts a lot of pressure on my joints and hurts like hell
Thanks!

Yoga can help relieve stress which will take away most of your nightmares. Your body has become out of line with itself, and you need to pull everything back to center. Yoga is meant to be done at your own comfort level. If it hurts then you're doing it wrong. This can be done every morning or evening. Also, try meditating for a short while. Just do a mind dump of all the negative things in your life. Focus on your breathing when you do this. Breathe in - bring in postive thoughts. Breathe out- blow out the negative thoughts. This is very simple and can even be done before you go to bed. It will help you to relax your mind and tell those nightmares who's boss.0

Leslie Sansone - Walk at Home
A) Low impact aerobics ....basics: marching in place, side steps, knee lifts, kicks, kick backs
You can do this on a carpeted floor or on puzzle mats if need be. No twisty, jerky moves.
You can do 5 minutes .... or 5 miles. DVDs are chaptered which lets you skip around. You start with a warmup & build .... the intensity is up to you.
c) Working out regularly helps me sleep better. Leslie's personality is soothing and encouraging. DVDs are so simple you can mute the sound & use your own music.
Here's a youtube clip to get an idea:

Non-Leslie "walk" .... Jessica Smith ... great personality

Sarah had a good idea too .... some yoga can be very relaxing (stay away from those labeled "power" yoga ... not nearly as relaxing)0
