I'm having trouble making sense of the math...I want to lose 1 pound a week and exercise 90 minutes a week (they say I should burn 660 cals in that 90 minutes). They have given me the allowance of 1,640 cals a day base on these goals. My confusion is that if I dont exercise one week am I still allowed those 1,640 calories per day? Or do I need to subtract those 660 fitness calories out of the week somewhere? Because arent we allowed to "eat " those calories if we burn them anyway (they have the saying "exercise more, eat more)?

MFP calculates your calorie goal without the exercise counted in.0

1640 is your base amount and when you log exercise you will see your calorie goal go up.0
