so these actually look amazing..... pretty sure you are a wizard. I don't have a microwave to make those mug ones, but I wouldn't make them anyway as they look like sawdust bricks so there's that.

for those wondering, I looked it up and golden syrup can be substituted with equal parts light and dark corn syrup or equal parts light syrup and honey. it's also supposedly sold at whole foods and cost plus if you have one near you.

oh I thought you were gonna say light or dark rum. damn damn!

If only you could share, since I can't cook.

Inorite, I'm currently tryna eat them thru the screen, tried licking, poking finger in now, and next up sucking thru straw. Yes, my husband thinks this is completely normal behavior by the me.

I was totally expecting this to be some gross recipe (like the microwave mug cake things- tried it and was so disappointed at how inedible it was) but this is actually a real recipe that looks amazing! Thanks!

I'm going to expand on this and try to make them gluten free. They'll end up with slightly higher calories, but probably still lower than your standard brownie! :)

A quick update - I made these again this week, but this time divided the batter into a muffin pan (I used 9 of the cups) and they baked to gooey perfection in about 6.5 minutes. This was PERFECT for me since they were portioned out and I could freeze some for later snacking.

So good with a little scoop of salted caramel gelato on top ...

Thank you, thank you, thank you :flowerforyou:

Does anyone fancy weighing the 60 Guittard Extra Dark Chips and telling me the weight please :flowerforyou: - I can't get these in the UK - but would love to try with a good dark chocolate sub.
