I have been walking everyday for 5 weeks straight - EVERYDAY... (only skipped Mothers Day)
Initially I could only walk 20 minutes briskly.
Now I walk 40 minutes with 4-5 laps sprinting 1/4 of the lap (trying to move up to jogging).
I also use the rowing machine 5-10 minutes after walking.
I also do arm weights too.

The first 3 weeks - I lost weight. 4 lbs.
Then the 4th week came - 3lbs!
NOW - GAIN 2!

I am at a loss. TOM was during week 3 - so not an issue. I have read that it is because I am building muscle and it weighs more.

Has this happened to you? Will I begin to lose again???
(by the way - I NEVER GO OVER MY DAILY ALLOTMENT OF CALORIES)

It could be possible that the two pounds you've gained is from muscle. If you've been exercising more or doing the weights then thats probably all that is. I'm having a hard time with adjusting to the idea. I've started a routine that involves more weight training along with cardio so its freaking me out to see the scale go up but I have to remember that its going to happen for a bit because of muscle..
