Favorite Packaged Foods for (mostly) Clean Eating?

I try to eat a whole food diet, but unfortunately working full time that isn't always possible. Some of my favorite packaged foods are Sabra Hummus (yummy 60 calories per 2tbs) 90 calorie Flatouts (90 calorie per flatout) Kraft Strawberry Balsamic dressing (50 calories per 2tbs) and Sensible Portion Veggie Straws (130 calories per 28g). Most have very few ingredients, and are mostly clean. Do you have any favourite yummy foods that are also convenient and healthy :)

I just recently came across Protein Chips (http://www.thesimplybar.com/simply-protein-chips) they're pretty tasty and satisfy that need for a crunchy snack.

packaged premade food is sorta the opposite of what clean eating is.. it's really easy to throw something together in the morning if you keep it simple..

portabella mushroom with sauce cheese and whatever veggie topping you like - nuke at work..
banana honey and greek yogurt with or without granola
oats with fruit of strawberry jam (easy to make yourself.. strawberries with a little water and boil until they are mostly liquid.. i put some lemon and a little bit of real sugar in mine)

Leftover dinner that you make yourself
organic/natural bread is usually your best bet
egg salad (super easy to make. sub avocado for mayo)
i love doing a salad with apple sweetened cranberries, feta and squeezing a lemon over the whole thing. add chicken breast and it's amazing.

I guess i didn't answer your question much.. but I've found the only way to really eat clean is to make the stuff yourself, you can also do better in a natural/organic focused grocery store. I'm not 100 percent clean, but i'd say around 90%..

Also depends on your definition of clean..

    Larabars, canned tuna, and bananas
  • Lara bars, hummus (various brands), Triscuit crackers (Nabisco? Am I joking? Nope - only whole wheat, oil, and salt! And the reduced fat is one of those few reduced fat snacks where they literally only cut down on fat and don't add anything else), some tortilla chips, unsweetened applesauce (ingredients: apples, maybe vitamin C), and Amy's burritos are my go-to choices.
