Has anyone used compression bands on their upper arms?

How do they work? Do they work?!! Is there a good name brand to look into? I have been working on my triceps and starting to see results, and I am not looking for a quick fix.... I just have no clue what they are for???

compression gear is basically like wearing athletic tape on your muscles instead of your joints. it can help with recovery and performance0

based on your question, it doesn't sound like something you should spend your money on.0

I use something similar for my calves when I run. It helps to prevent cramps and give you a little more distance by preventing the muscle from bouncing around. I didn't really need them until I started running distance and gearing up for a half marathon. If you're just starting out, I doubt you need them.0

No, but I have noticed some pro baseball players wear a compression band on their arm, though....
I do wear long sleeve compression shirt underneath a t-shirt or a sweater when I'm working out when there's a chill in the air.0
