Just not hungry

I know in order to burn more I should eat a few small meals a day vs three big meals. But since I've started getting active and making sure that I'm drinking the right amount of water - I am barely able to eat much at all.
I'm not a morning eater - never have been. But I force myself to have either a fiber bar or a piece of fruit. Then I'm stuffed until lunch time - which lately I'm forcing myself to eat as well. Dinner comes and I eat it; but that feeling that I used to have of being hungry ALL OF THE TIME has left. Now I'm feeling like blah if I eat just three small meals a day. Is this normal??? Should I force the snacks or more food at the bigger meals even if I'm not feeling it?
Is this just a phase I'm going through on this part of my weight loss? I used to eat all of the time hungry or not - just need to know if this drastic of a slide the other way is normal.
And I know how this reads - that I'm starving myself. I'm not. I've never suffered with any eat disorders - I've always been athletic and "snarky". I'm not on any crazy pills or going through a hard time in my life right now. I'm just not hungry.

It doesn't really matter when you eat - just the calorie count. Eat when you're hungry, but try eating more calorie-dense foods like cheese or peanut butter. That way, you still don't have to eat a lot, but your body is getting the nutrients that it needs.0

For me, hunger is an unreliable indicator, so I "force" myself if I need to. I do my best not to net below BMR even if I'm not really feeling it. I find cereal is very calorific and not filling, so I might go for that. I might make myself something extra yummy with avocados and cheese and meat and potatoes. Sandwiches pack a big amount of calories in a tiny package, so I might go for that.
If water is filling you up too much, try to leave some breaks in there and eat your food without a lot of water.
I believe that temporary loss of appetite is normal (especially since most people reduce their carbs at least somewhat while trying to lose) and you will get your appetite back soon. Good luck! :flowerforyou:0
