Tis morning I did 55 lunges, 100 crunches and 30 push ups (girly style). Why doesn't it count as any calories? Do you only get calories for cardio? Just wondering.

You could add calories if you want. Some people look up approximate numbers, some people wear a heart rate monitor while they work out.0

Thanks. I guess I will let it count what it wants to count. I will try to do cardio later this evening, anyways, if I am not dead after working in my flowers pulling weeds. Lol0

You can log strength training under the cardio part and based on the time it will give you a calorie burn.......however from what I have gathered solely from other mfp members that is....is that it is very hard to determineactual calories burned from strength training. So if you eat back your calories you may want to find a more accurate measure.0

You can log Gardening under Cardio, I believe.0
