Teriyaki Marinated Chicken
I make a teriyaki marinade for chicken and beef. Its equal parts sugar and soy sauce (at least one cup), garlic and ginger.
One cup of soy has a really large sodium content. Since I'm only marinading my chicken for a couple days would it still have such a high sodium content?

Your chicken will most definitely retain salt from the soy sauce marinade. When I make my soy marinades I will sub half the soy with water and the sugar with honey. And of course serve with plenty of fresh broccoli and peppers to offset the sodium a bit.0
