Hello everyone,
I've been on MVP since last May..I was doing really well lost about 30lbs. Then encountered some personal situations that impacted me..I fell off gained bout 15lbs back. I am now trying to rebuild my self esteem and self confidence again. When I first started mfp I just counted calories I was happy with the results. But I now would like to add an exercise routine to tone and have endurance, so my questions is how/where do I begin?? I'm totally clueless. Like, when do you take rest days? What routine should I follow etc.. Thank you everyone for taking time out to read my post.

Please note that I am pretty new to the exercise world but here is what I would suggest to start with:
45-60 minutes of cardio every other day (fast walk, bike rise, roller blade, aerobics class or video)
days in between I try to alter an arms day (3 sets of pushups, planks, and dips) with a leg day ( 3 sets of squats, lunges and calf raises)0 -
strength training x3 a week and cardio x2 a week is a good start. or you can combine them and do cardio with weights which i think is better than running unless you doing like hiit i think it is comparable. dont be afried to hit the weight you wont get buff unless you realy realy realy try to on a caloric surplus0
