I have about 6 of bob harper's dvds and they all will kick your *kitten*! My favorite is the "ultimate cardio" one. Its about an hour long and includes weight lifting and cardio. I also like the fact that his videos have a timer in the corner that indicate how much time you have left in your workout and what move is coming up next. I highly recommend his videos.0

Bob's cardio isn't like Jillian's cardio. There are instances of jumping jacks, jumping up and down, mountain climbers and the like, but from watching his videos I've noticed that he tends to favor lots of squatting (squat swings, deadlifts, etc) and combines this with weights rather than doing outright "pure cardio" exercises. In my opinion Jillian threads more cardio activities in her workouts than Bob, and if you're looking for a workout with better cardio I would suggest Jillian's Blast Fat Boost Metabolism. It's about an hour and completely dedicated to cardio with some body weight training thrown in as well.
That being said, the previous poster is right. Bob Harper will kick your butt. After weeks of doing Insanity I thought I'd try a Bob Harper DVD for a bit of a change. I had no idea what was in store for me. His strength DVD's (even when done with light weights) made my arms and legs ache for days. I was literally cursing him from my position in front of my computer--something I've never done to Shaun T. As for the cardio DVD, well... I wasn't exactly panting and sweating like when I do an Insanity workout, but it was still a really big challenge.
Even if you're looking for something more cardio related I would still try Bob's DVDs. They really put an emphasis on building the muscles underneath the fat, so that when the time comes and you lose the excess weight your body is toned as well as svelte.
Good luck!0 -
Oh yes, he will kick your butt, but he'll do it with a smile. I love Bob!
While it's not cardio in the traditional sense, you will definitely get your heart rate up and be sweating!0 -
I love Cardio Max and Boot Camp. I swear Cardio Max has help shrink my hips and butt lost of lunges and squats I am in love with that video and Bob Harper is better to look at then Jilian lol. I like Jilian videos to I almost own all of them.0
