Ab Challenge

My friend is doing this ab challenge she found and I thought I might join her but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to start it now.

My ankle has been bothering me and the dr said I'm not allowed to exercise on it for a while so I'm not losing the excess fat I need. I didn't know if this ab challenge would help. I know it is mostly toning muscles but if I can't do anything else, would this be a good thing to do?

It builds up over a 30 day period. The first day you are doing 15 sit-ups, 5 crunches, 5 leg raises, and a 10second plank. By the end of the 30 day challenge you are doing 125 sit-ups, 200 crunches, 65 leg raises, and a 120second plank.

I know this is really going to tone the ab muscles but will it also help reduce some belly fat? Alongside the challenge I will also be dieting correctly. WIll this be enough for the next 2-4 months while I am not allowed to be exercising?

    You can't spot reduce, so no, it will not "reduce" belly fat. It probably won't even "tone" your abdominal area at all.
