I have tried this 3 times before, I did lose some weight, but couldn't stick with it. My problem I don't know how to cook, and don't know much about nutrition. Since my pregnancy ten years ago I have been eating like I am still pregnant. Craving here, craving there, yummy yummy. My daughter is ten years old next month. I need to get serious and get this weight off. I just turned 29 and am 247 lbs. I have started to see some health problems, and it is starting to scare me. I am a single mom, so I need to be healthy, energized, and there for my child. I want to teach her good habits, and not the bad habits. My church does a lot of work out groups, and this semester I signed up for one. So that will be interesting. I was really active as a teen, on the swim team, I could swim 20 laps in under 8 mins. Def can't do that now. But the cool thing is we just moved into an apartment and there is a pool there. I can swim laps there.
Well if you would like to help me, encourage me on this journey let me know. My food diary is viewable..not sure if its public but my friends can see it. I am like a fast food addict, most days my daughter and I go to mcdonalds two times. I know thats bad. So I have been trying to eat better the last two days, and I noticed I have a really bad headache. I think it maybe because I am not eating as much junk food. I was frustrated with what I ate so far today. I ate breakfast, and then tracked what I'm going to eat for lunch, and noticed I already went over how much sugar I should have for the day. It seems everything has sugar in it. I guess I will just need to educate myself on nutrition, and it will just be a process. Didn't get to this point overnight, so it will take a while. Lifestyle changes.
Thanks for reading.

Hear is an average day for me. I weigh 322 pounds at last weigh in and here is what I am eating today:
B: 2 egg omelet with a slice of meat (turkey) and some cheese sprinkled on it
S: 2 Frigo String Cheese sticks
L: Hawaiian Haystack (cauliflower with chicken gravy, baked chicken, scallions, cheese and peas on it)
S: Peanut Butter or PickleLasagna
Now, normally I wouldn't eat lasagna as I am sorta doing low carb, but with this, I feel full all day long and I am 674 calories, 217g of carbs, 13g of Sugar, 5g of fat away from my "goal" and have eaten 37g of protein more than my target. That is before exercise which will give me a lot more wiggle room in the calorie department.
I am not great cook, but cutting up some meat and tossing it in with cheese and 2 eggs in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes makes a great omelet. The things I usually make are pretty simple and generally pretty low in carbs and sugars.
It isn't the easiest thing, but I've only recently started and it already is so much easier. Once you get used to a routine and find some meals you can make that are easy for you, you can do it! Wish you the best and add me if you like!0 -
I did not know the microwave cooked eggs. lol. Thanks for your response. I added you. I am going to look at all my friends food dairys and make up a meal plan based on that. I also have some cook books.0

Yeah, I didn't either until I tried it! My diary is closed right now until I get into next month, then I may open it up0
