Can you use diet 7up?0
-
Never heat aspartame (the sweetener in diet 7-up), as it goes through a chemical process that makes it toxic to humans. Only the sweetener in splenda is stable at high temperatures. Heated aspartame has been linked to brain damage and can be the cause of mental illnesses as well as linked to dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
If you must have cake, just eat the sugar. At least the extra calories won't destroy your brain.0 -

Pretty sure this is bull. All I can find about the heat reactions of Aspartame are that at 180 degrees Fahrenheit it can change into diketopiperazine which are secondary Metabolites. These are produced in the guts of mammals. I can't find any reliable, non-crazy source that says they are dangerous. (except for in a very small amount of the population with PKU)0 -
