Hello one and all,

I'm new to the site, but a veteran against fighting back the dreaded inches around my waist that creep up. I've been overweight all my life, childhood to teens to young adulthood. Just a couple of years ago I finally took action and lost 50lbs as I pursued a military path. After a year and a half of all my hard work, I was rejected based on my eyesight. After that, I slowly found a different career to pursue, which consists of me sitting at a desk. With someone to be really accountable gone along with my inner drive, I lapsed back into old eating habits. I still work out on a regular basis, but that's not enough. Almost all of the pants in my closet are too tight to wear and I'm upset that my self control isn't enough.

So long story short, I need to change my eating habits. As tough and grumpy as that makes me, it needs to happen. At first, I'll do what I always do, go cold turkey and shock the heck out of my system, but after that, I'll make slow and steady changes to reach my goal, the slow yet persistent way towards being healthy, happy, and skinny. I would love if someone from my region would work out with me. I go to the Racquet Club here in town as well as run on the numerous bike trails. Feel free to message me at any time, I'm all ears!

Wishing everyone the best on their journey to healthier happier selves!
