I know its hard, but if you make small changes, you will eventually stick to a better diet and way of life. Just start out by tracking everything you eat and see the areas you need to change. Walking is a good way to start to be more active, you dont have to go far or very fast, just get moving. Good Luck and you can add me if you want!
  • Don't give up! Eating right is a whole new lifestyle and every person on here knows that it is not easy. Take things one day at a time. Heck, take things one meal at a time. I would suggest finding the healthiest things in your house and going with those for meals. And maybe start bringing home some healthy food to introduce into your and your parents diets- maybe you can rub off of them!

I just started back on this site. I was doing really well over a year ago and then I just stopped. But now I am back and more determined than ever to get on the right track. Feel free to add me if you need some online support. I think being on here really helps because of all the like-minded people.

    Perk up, buttercup!

It always is easier to just give up, but please don't. Even if you don't have support at home, you have it here. Whenever I get discouraged I come on here and look at the success stories. I look at the before pics and I see people just like me who are losing weight and getting healthy. I figure if they can do it, so can I.

Remember, if you start now, 6 months from now you can look back and see how far you've come. If you give up now, in 6 months will be in the same boat you are now.

Add me as a friend if you like, I'll be happy to help support and motivate you.
