First-sorry for a most likely repeat topic
I am looking into getting an HRM and have narrowed it down to either a polar f4 or f6. Which would you recommend and why?

If you go to a Gym, a Polar F6 would be more beneficial as it has a coded chest strap.
If you have an F4 and go to a gym, you could pick up someone else's heart rate.
Price, - Get a polar F4, unless you come across a deal like this.

Well I can get a polar f4 for $45 or a polar f6 for $55.
What are the benefits of each one and which do you recommend? I will be using it to track my heart rate/calories burned while walking and jogging outside, doing the shred, and using my wii.
Thank you!0 -
F6 hands down, esp at that price difference. F4 does not allow you to enter VO2 max manually. You may not know what that is or how to do it, but someday you might, and that's an important option. F4 is much less accurate.0

I'm very happy with my Polar FT4. I have a home gym & only work out there... unless we're doing something creative outside of the house.0
