I like to walk every day. Not only relaxes me, but gives me some time to ponder the things that are going on.
Working in the yard is also relaxing.
And cooking. Not the meal preparation on a work night, but the weekends, when I can plan a meal, spend time shopping, prepping and involving my friends and family.0 -

I agree with a lot of these replies, finding something to distract the mind can help a lot. In some cases, I also like to write down my thoughts as that helps me get things out of my head that I need to remember to do or discuss with someone. I'll send myself an email and then I don't have to remember whatever it is anymore.
For distraction, I read or play on my phone (solitaire or surf FB meme pages). Watching TV can be good too as long as it's not something super exciting that will keep me awake.0 -
Praying for and helping others & meditating on the things of God.
Filling my mind and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. (Phil. 4:8)
Listening to uplifting and lovely music.
