I came here back in Dec. of last year & lost interest. In Jan. I gained a few more extra pounds & became very depressed, told hubby that if I reached 200 I couldn't live with myself anymore,of course he didn't take me seriously & I became more depressed. One day I decided to just get over it & lose the weight.I joind a calorie counter message board, starting tracking & started walking a mile during my lunch break & lost about 10 pounds in no time.I even walked in a 5K,finished in 54 min.,but was happy with that. Now I'm getting very frustrated cause I can't seem to get motivated to get over this slump I'm in.Wanted to join Wieght Watchers, but hubby thinks it's a waste of money,so I remembered this site & decided to give it another try.I have long hours so I need some help spreading out my calories.A tipical day is-wake up @ 3am,work @ 4am,1st break @7,lunch @ 10,get off @ 1,usually walk around 1:30,supper @6 & bed by 9-9:30.

It's never easy, and I am sure we have all failed at this more than we care to admit. You have done great by taking the first step. Just stay focused on why you are doing this, and if you discouraged, post here, we are all here to help each other. Strength in numbers !!!

You are not alone. My last "break" lasted from April '09 until March '10. Congratulations on getting back on the horse a lot quicker than I did and welcome back!

    Hello,
My wife and I have a pretty bad habit of eating anything bad for us that we can get our hands on. We are new to this site and are attempting to regulate our diets and fill them with more healthy choices.
Despite the fact that we are new to this site, I would like to welcome you back as well. it does not matter how many times or how often, what matters is that you are in fact coming back.
I am going to recommend something to you that my wife and I are doing. No, we are not selling anything nor sponsors or anything of that regard. Point being, we are starting week four of P90x and are seeing amazing results. I think you could adapt the program to deal with your busy schedule if you wanted to but the fact is, I have never sweat so much in my life and in three weeks have developed muscles I never thought I had. if you can get a hold of P90x or something similar on youtube, I dont think you will be disapointed. good luck to you and just keep on showing up.
