New Mommys trying to get back to that pre-baby body!!

I don't know if there is already a group like this started, but I weeded through about three pages of posts before I gave up and just created my own. What I'd like to do is start a group of women (any ages!) that have had a baby in the last year and are struggling with weight loss OR just want an in it together type of thing to motivate you. My name is Olivia, I gave birth to my son Logan on September 12th 2012 he's 8 months old now. I stayed fit during my pregnancy only gained about 20-25lbs then shot right down after birth by breastfeeding. Here's where my problems started I kept up with my breastfeeding diet (eat whatever, whenever) after I weaned Logan so I gained quite a big of weight. I was 140lbs two weeks after birth, and when I joined I was 179lbs.

This is my first serious attempt at weight loss, so I'm kind of going in blind. I'm looking for some tips/tricks/exercises that have worked for others?

Also, what I would like to try to do (and if its not an every day thing, as much as is manageable) is do like a 3 week challenge where we all check in daily (or when you can) with what's going on in our weight loss life (or mommy life!)
