So I thought I'd expand the palate of my household and I bought a bag of frozen butter beans. The only problem is I have no idea what to do with them. Any ideas, beyond just boiling them and having them as a side dish?

That's all I usually ever do with them other than put them in soups.

Well, I would cook them in chicken stock, add sauted peppers, garlic and onions, (before MFP, it would have been a ham bone with lots of meat on it) and cook until tender but not mushy. Then I would add raw onion and peppers to them when ready to eat. But that's just me. I'm into those veggies with beans. Also a good dash of pepper. I had a variation of that for dinner tonight, except I used chick peas and added cumin.
